THe Bible is replete of examples were the creation has proven itself to be less than perfect and rebellious at best. From Satan to the first couple; rebellion is not a foreign concept.

You thought to yourself, I will scale the heavens, I will raise my throne above God's stars. I will sit on the Mount of Assembly far away in the north. I will rise past the tops of the clouds, I will make myself like the Most High.Isaiah 14:13-14

When Lucifer was kicked out of heaven; he sought to put humanity in his same fallen state. Genesis 3:1

Satan lies as is his nature and he is determined to lead humanity to do likewise. John 8:44

Satan loves to sow the seeds of doubt so that we will not fully trust G_d. Genesis 3:1

We often editorialize the truth by adding more than we need. Often creating new doctrines that a re a burden to everyone. Genesis 3:2-3

Never argue with fools because the time cannot be redeemed. Proverbs 26:4

Satan knows enough scripture to twist us into a pretzel. Genesis 3:4-5

Being dismissive to sin leads us to lead others in sin. Genesis 3:6

Remorse without repentance is only regret. Genesis 3:7

Confession is good for the soul. 1 John 1:9
