Everyone who knows me will say the most common thing, he needs help! I won't argue with that. Blame my upbringing. It was challenging but is it not in the crucible that real molding begins? It would very easy to allow my past to serve as a crutch as to why I have not achieved but that would be reckless and irresponsible. I made decisions, good and bad, that affected my journey.

Hello, my name is Watson Prunier, SOC. SOC is the acronym, servant of Christ. Christ saved me, and I am His! So, let's get into a little history:

Born to Haitian immigrants, my siblings and I entered the world in 1971. A couple more arrived over the next 7 to 18 years. Life was very limited as we lived with little resources.

Needless to say, we were left with our imaginations for most entertainment. If you told me that I would enjoy writing back then; I would have laughed. Reading and writing (except for poetry) were such a drag that I aggressively sought other pursuits.

I moved out of the house at sixteen. I do not believe that I fully matured until my late 30s. It wasn't until 1993 that I began to love to read. In 1998 when I began writing my first novel (a work still in process). I received a lot of negative comments about my passion for writing from some in my past, but God has something altogether different.

The most important decision in my life was choosing to abandon my foolish pursuits and pursue God with passion. I walked away from all of the false religions that consumed me and decided that my most logical path was Christ Jesus as Lord and Savior. It was at a revival in Manhattan, October 1994. Just around the corner from Penn Station. I took the train home knowing that my life would never be the same! Undoubtedly, it has been quite an adventure!

I am married to the most beautiful woman in the world, on my second try! It took me fourteen years to meet her. Actually, it took the Lord fourteen years to get me ready to be the husband, father, and leader that she needed. My wife encourages me daily. It makes pursuing my passions that much more exciting. Trying to tame the list to something feasible.

I also am blessed to be a father to my children. I have a deeper respect for my father as I live, and have lived, many of his experiences as a parent. This role is not for the faint of heart. This role is not meant for those seeking to live vicariously through their children. Many life lessons that force me not to take things for granted are being presented. The Lord has truly given me a lot to write about.

Despite the challenging circumstances growing up, my political leanings are generally, but not specifically, Conservative. When I first started blogging, I was clearly leaning far to the right. Over the years, I have been leaning more to a biblical worldview that is not partial to either political party. I wish that I had known that out of the gate!

I refuse to be defined by my color as my ethnicity is Christian! I refuse to be defined by my nationality as my identity is in Christ! Below is the role of identity in my life:

I share my opinions and the truth via my blogs, radio and other media venues. The most important venue would be through written books that may have a silver-screen version. Getting life organized so I can complete the book writing tasks. A couple are already listed on Amazon.

My blogs and live broadcasting are a work in progress. I do not have all the answers, but I strive to make things clearer, for all of us. Journalism is too fractured and money oriented to offer an unbiased approach. By this failed standard, we have molded minds to fictional realities! I have seen it firsthand. I once also a consumer of that ignorance.

I am driven by the following quote by Charles Thomas Studd, Only one life,’ twill soon be past, Only what’s done for Christ will last.

We have been deluded with so many worldly standards of what is the correct standard that living right appears to be driven by party. My goal is not to be a mouthpiece for any party but Christ. Prayerfully, in so doing, people will reflect the same and grow! It will not look perfect, but it will be my best attempt! Thank you!
